What are Women, Trans*, and Queer Hours? Why do they exist?
Since the fall of 2013, La Cave has had certain hours each week when we are specifically open for people who identify as Women, Trans*, and Queer.
Although we hope that everyone feels welcome in La Cave at all times, we also recognize that this has been a very male/ dude dominated space in the past, as have bike workshops and bike culture generally. Thus, we've created these specific hours (in which volunteers also identify as Women, Trans*, or Queer) so that we can welcome people into the space who might not otherwise use it.
We always welcome more volunteers in these hours, so get in touch if you would like to get involved!
Every Monday 7:30pm to 9pm
