Ride-along, May days!
Though La Cave may be closed, and thereby limit the availability of tools and materials for your bike maintenance, have no fear! We put together a list of inexpensive solutions for basic bike problems that may have hampered your sunny day rides and halogen-lit night cruising.
1. Bike pumps (Float like a butterfly, roll like a...wheel)
La Cave , unfortunately, cannot provide any bike pumps without opening our doors or having volunteers on call to help provide access to them. However, there are a slew of options that are available to you to remedy your problem, here are two of them:
Gas Station Air-Pumps
The easiest and most efficient way to keep your wheels on the clouds is to stop by a gas station and ask to use their pump. They usually allow it and it's fast!

2. Monthly/Weekly/ Daily Maintenance
In case you need to have access to lubricants, bike tubes, patches, or anything else for you bike's health (and yours, of course) you can visit any of the may bike collectives across Montreal!
Here is a great registry of bike collectives like La Cave (meaning inexpensive and super fun to visit!) presented by Right To Move.
OR, you can always search for a professional bike store to stock up or get repairs done. Though this is a more expensive option, they are always outfitted and may have more regular hours than a bike collective.
3. And, hey, call me?
La Cave is also easy to contact. Though we may be formally closed for a period of time, volunteers are a phone-call away and we can organize access to La Cave depending on our availability.
See our contact page for more details on getting in touch!
